Americans Incarcerated: A Family’s Story of Social Injustice

  • Bainbridge Island Museum of Art 550 Winslow Way East Bainbridge Island, WA, 98110 (map)

Engaging, beautiful, and heartbreaking all at once, this exhibition is an evolving collaboration between Everett-based artists Jan and Chris Hopkins to memorialize the federally mandated eviction of Japanese Americans during World War II. Their work portrays the range of fear, racism, alienation and loss experienced through this fateful chapter in American history.
