Wondering what to do this weekend? There’s so much to choose from. Let us help you decide.

Thursday, May 19, Bainbridge Island’s beloved Pegasus Coffee House (which the Financial Times called one of the best coffee houses in the world) celebrates its 42nd birthday, 80’s style—with 80’s attire, 80’s music, and 80’s prices. Plus: Eric Auckerman performs from 5-7pm, bringing live music back to this fantastic local venue for the first time in two years.

Theater: West Sound theater lovers are giddy with the variety of shows on offer. Two highlights: The hilarious Broadway musical classic LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS continues through May 29 at the Western Washington Center for the Arts (Port Orchard)…. And it’s the closing weekend of AND AWAY WE GO—the Lesser-Known Players’ production of Terrence McNally’s comedic ode to theater. Friday and Saturday at 7:30. Sunday at 3:00. At Rolling Bay Hall (Bainbridge).

Music: A.J Croce, son of legendary folk singer Jim, brings his show CROCE PLAYS CROCE to the Admiral Theatre (Bremerton).

Wine & Cheese: And don’t forget to celebrate the latest installment of WINE ON THE ROCK. A $75 passport ($25 for designated drivers) gets you in for wine & cheese tastings at all seven Bainbridge Island wineries.

Featured Event: VIKING FEST

After a two-year hiatus, Poulsbo—a.k.a. the “City of Vikings”—is bringing back its signature celebration. Viking Fest is rooted in the annual Norwegian Constitution Day celebration, marking Norway’s independence from Sweden in 1905. The festivities kick off Friday evening with an opening ceremony, including traditional Norwegian folk dancing and music, and a demonstration of a viking “shield wall.” But the main event is Saturday, including a pancake breakfast, road race, parade, craft fair, and street dance. On Sunday, in addition to all the family-friendly activities, the festivities wrap up with a Viking Tour Brew Fest + Bike Ride organized by the Poulsbo Rotary Club.

WHEN: Friday-Sunday, May 20-22
WHERE: Poulsbo Waterfront Park
COST: FREE
